Course Description

This course explores how genetic information is stored, inherited, and expressed in living organisms. Students will investigate the structure and function of DNA, genes, and chromosomes, examine the processes of cell division and reproduction, and learn how traits are passed from one generation to the next. As the course progresses, students will explore increasingly complex patterns of inheritance and discover how modern biotechnology is transforming medicine, agriculture, and forensic science. Through scientific investigations, real-world case studies, and problem-solving activities, students will develop a strong foundation in genetics and an appreciation for its role in modern society.
