Algebraic Manipulation builds the essential algebra skills needed for advanced mathematics. Students learn how to simplify expressions, manipulate algebraic fractions, recognize algebraic identities, factor expressions, and rearrange equations and formulas. Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on developing logical problem-solving strategies and mathematical fluency. These skills provide the foundation for studying functions, graphing, calculus, physics, and higher-level mathematics.
The course is organized into five units:
- Unit 1: Simplifying Algebraic Expressions
- Unit 2: Manipulating Algebraic Fractions
- Unit 3: Algebraic Identities and Factorization
- Unit 4: Rearranging Equations and Formulas
- Unit 5: Algebraic Problem Solving
